Murfreesboro Pacers will be running on the track on 8/31 at 8PM.

Murfreesboro Pacers will be running at the MTSU starting at 8:00PM for every Tuesday in the Summer.

Note Change in time to 8:00PM.

The Run Chikin Run 10k is presented by Chick-Fil-A of Murfreesboro and Sponsored by Fleet Feet of Murfreesboro. The course starts and finishes at the Murfreesboro Gateway. It is an out and back course with a loop which rounds the historic Stones River Battlefield. The course is primarily flat with one short climb located on the scenic Battlefield loop.

Falcon Run for Fun 5K (9/25)

This 5K features a USATF Certified Course that is flat and very fast.

Awards will be given out to top overall male and female, masters and grandmasters, plus top 3 in each age group, from 10 & under to 80+. Door prizes and post race amenities.

T-shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered.

Pre-registration, $20 and $25 same day. Make checks payable to Stewarts Creek Middle School and mail to Deann Middleton, 1322 Tomahawk Trace, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

Grand Prix Race Series

The Grand Prix Race Series includes the local races in Murfreesboro and surrounding areas. The Murfreesboro Pacers members will vie for top prizes as they race in each of these events. The events include:

Smyrna Parks 1 mile (August 7th)

Fenton Payne and Fred 5k (August 14th)

RunChikinRun 10k (September 11th)

The Middle Half - 1/2 Marathon (October 16th)

Pacer Junior Program is a Success

Promoting FUN physical fitness for youth in Rutherford County. The Murfreesboro Junior Pacers met every Tuesday evening in June from 6-7PM @ MTSU Track Stadium. All children ages 5-12 attended and had group fitness instruction and activities, such as endurance and agility Games

I big thanks to Phil and Charlotte Young and Tammy and Jimmy Woods for their wonderful work in setting up the program.
